Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground pork (or shrimp, optional)
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- Wonton wrappers
- 4 cups chicken broth (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 slices ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 200g egg noodles (thin wonton noodles) (serves 2-3 pax)
- Bok choy or Chye Sim
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
- Make the Wontons
Mix pork, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, and pepper.
Place a small spoonful in a wonton wrapper, seal with water, and set aside.
- Prepare the Soup
Heat chicken broth with ginger and soy sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the Wontons and Noodles
Boil water, cook wontons for 3-5 minutes (until they float). Remove.
In the same water, cook noodles (20-28secs+/-). Blanch bok choy for 30 seconds.
- Assemble the Bowl
Divide noodles into bowls, add wontons, and pour hot broth over.
Garnish with bok choy and chopped green onions.
